4/17/2020 0 Comments Mass Media Paper TopicsMass Media Paper TopicsMass media paper topics often reveal the hidden or under-reported stories of life. The headlines of today's media should also include under-represented stories about different social issues, alternative lifestyles, non-traditional family structure and what people are looking for in a child care service provider.
Let's start with two from the beginning of the year. We've got the Equal Pay Day for women, celebrated on Monday, and also the State of the Union Address for men on Tuesday. Now that is interesting stuff! Men have been getting more of the spotlight lately, as we continue to navigate around their recent struggles with divorce and co-habitation, even as they appear to be fighting back against societal views about fatherhood and masculinity. In terms of daily Mass Media Topics, let's continue with issues facing children. We've got the ISIS genocide in Iraq and Syria, which has impacted millions of innocent people in many ways. There are innumerable people being forced from their homes by the very terrorist group that is supposedly committed to protecting them and not inflicting harm upon them. There's also been a lot of political controversy surrounding the War on Drugs, and whether or not it is really working and to what degree or to what extent. Not only have we seen a mass increase in marijuana use, but we also find ourselves fighting a war that is getting completely out of control and now our judicial system is being corrupted by those who sell the war on drugs for their own profit. Mass Media Topics today should have more focus on child custody battles, and some are questioning whether it's worth paying huge sums of money for custody if you are so strongly convinced that your partner isn't the right one. When looking at the court system in New York and in other states, it appears that the courts are becoming more unfair to fathers, when it comes to determining custody and child support. In addition to all of the mass media topics I've mentioned, let's talk about the hidden stories of life. Let's not forget the emerging health, or lack thereof, in this country, as we witness obesity, dieting and losing weight for the sake of appearances, which has health consequences to both children and adults alike. So it seems that while mass media topics can often help us get to the stories of life, Mass Media Paper Topics can often help us to recognize the lesser known stories. Let's think of this as we move into the new year and consider what really matters in our lives.
